Who I am

Explaining who I am has always felt like a challenge. There is much noise in today’s world so it is challenging to dive deep within and get to know ourselves. I am a learner, a student, an explorer. I am not perfect, although I often try.

What I do know is I love nature. The healing abilities, the complexities, the unknowns and unexplainable. Through food, like foraging and cooking, we connect with nature everyday, often three times a day without even realizing it. There is a disconnect here, and the further we get away from nature, the sicker I believe we become. This is how my business name was formed.

I’ve gone through struggles from chronic health issues, mental health, to orthorexia, but I’ve never stopped trying. Through being a health chef I can showcase the beauty of nature, the true artist. Highlighting ingredients, teaching how local food enhances health sending signals to our biology. Connect with others, laugh, share great food and resonate. I use extensive culinary knowledge from working in the industry for years, along with my degree in Nutritional Sciences and close guidance from professionals in the nutrition field.
